Sydney Portrait, Recieving the latest matchbox at the Paper Mill, 2010
My City is an evolving series of mixed media portraits looking at the identity of a region through the eyes of her residents. This incorporates inviting locals we encounter to create a small-scale work inside one of our matchboxes responding to the theme “My City”.
We are currently creating City Portraits: Sydney - My City. at the Rock Pop-Up. To date the portrait has evolved at an event at our exhibition at galleryeight in June 2010 and in The Paper Mill studio window whilst we were artist in residence in October 2010.
