Celebrating the Portrait throughout last day of installation
City Portraits: Melbourne - My City was created whilst we conducted an Artist in Residence at Platform. Over April 2009 our Portrait evolved in Platform's Vitrine Space, located in Campbell Arcade, Degraves St exit, Flinders Station, Melbourne. We thank all Melbournians who have contributed to our portrait.
Our My City series is an evolving series of mixed media portraits of diverse cities looking at the identity of a region through the eyes of her residents. This incorporates inviting locals we encounter to create a small-scale work inside one of our matchboxes responding to the theme “My City”.
